"Small Community .... Big Promotion"

Each year - on Labor Day - Kinmundy, Illinois stages its annual homecoming get-together, and highlights the event with a street parade.  The town is filled to overflowing with old residents who have moved away, but who return for the occasion.

Horsemen, people from every walk of life show up with their hrses and ponies, join in the festivities and then quietly disappear for another year.  Where do they all come from?  Nobody knows ... but they're there, last year, this year, and they'll be in town next year!"

("The above page of pictures appeared in the October issue of "Horses Unlimited", a magazine published in the interest of and for the lovers of horses.")
