Thompson Family

 

Hiram Douglas THOMPSON (b. May 5, 1860 - Lane Co, IL; d. Feb. 22, 1951) was son of William John THOMPSON.

Laura Belle ROWE (b. Oct. 23, 1859 - New Middleton, IN; d. Dec. 18, 1940) was the daughter of Jacob ROWE & Lucinda (_____) ROWE.

Hiram Douglas THOMPSON and Laura Belle (ROWE) THOMPSON were married, and had:

    1. Edna THOMPSON.  Married (1) ____ PITTMAN.  Married (2) Clay NEWMAN.

        Edna (THOMPSON) NEWMAN & Clay NEWMAN had:

            1a.  Euphie Newman married Joe SMITZ.

            1b.  William Newman

            1c.  Everett Newman.

    2. Mary Louise THOMPSON (b. Nov. 17, 1898 - Maunie, IL; d. March 9, 1950). 

        Married Archie Leroy "Roy" Sullivan (b. Sept. 30, 1914 - Success, MO; d. Aug. 8, 1985).

        "Roy" Sullivan was the son of James Sullivan & Elizabeth (Mason) Sullivan.

        Mary Louise (THOMPSON) SULLIVAN & "Roy" SULLIVAN had:

            2a.  Harold Sullivan (d. at birth)

            2b.  Vernon Leroy Sullivan. b. July 25, 1916.  Married Betty Smith.

            2c.  Sterling James Sullivan.  b. Nov. 18, 1918.  Married Naomi Simmons.

            2d.  Edith Clara Sullivan.  b. Dec. 8, 1920.  Married Marvin Dace (son of Wilbur Dace and Polly (Chitwood) Dace).

            2e.  Violet May Sullivan.  b. Jan. 12, 1923.  Married Adolph Tockstein, Jr.

            2f.  Delores Myree Sullivan. 

            2g.  Phyllis June Sullivan.  Married Harold Walker Jones.

            2h.  Charles Douglas Sullivan.  Married (1) Virginia Ann Flanagan.  Married (2) Donna Livesay.

            2i.  Norman Ray Sullivan.  Married Aloma Kay Hays.

            2i.  William Larry Sullivan.  Married Helen Brown.

    3. Lillian THOMPSON (b. Nov. 9, 1895 - Dec. 26, 1992).  Married Ben PITTMAN.

        Ben was murdered and the crime was never solved.

            3a. Tillie Mae Pittman. (b. Jan. 8, 1993.)  Married Lloyd Grave.
